This is a difficult journey with crimes beyond comprehension - for so many. I have an important favor to ask. Many of you have posted some meaningful sentiments and information to the Face Book page, Justice for David, Palmer, Alaska.

If you want to help (and are willing), please send a "Letter of Support for David Grunwald" to:

State of Alaska Office of Victim' Rights

ATTN: Taylor E. Winston, Director

1007 West 3rd Avenue, Suite 205

Anchorage, AK 99501-1936

Email: officeofvictimsrights@akleg.gov (Attn: Taylor Winston)

Do's:

1. Convey how the crime affected you and your family, etc.

2. Write information that may help the judge during sentencing.

3. Indicate if you want your letter to be public record (case file).

Don'ts:

1. Do not give your physical address or your full name.

If you have already written the judge and it was kicked back to you, it's because the judge must remain objective throughout the case. The letters will be presented - AFTER CONVICTION- in the presentencing report - and the judge will then consider this information for sentencing. Need a date? Please consider writing now and capture your feelings and thoughts before they fade. It will be difficult, but it is important. Devin Peterson's trial for tampering and hindering is currently scheduled for January 2018; please write a letter.

Thank you, thank you.

The District Attorney will accept your letter and put it in his file.

Address for District Attorney Roman J. Kalytiak, Palmer State Office Building,515 E. Dahlia Street, Suite 150, Palmer, AK 99645-6416
