Holly Gittlein put lots of hard work, heart and soul into this sculpture which is a dedication for David to Academy Charter School in Palmer, Alaska. It will stand about 13' high. It's Holly's first kinetic piece - the top of the flame will spin with the wind. Holly calls her creation, "Infinite Flame." She talks to it as if it were David and says she has come to know David through this project.
There has been plenty of interest in Holly's work. As an accomplished Alaskan artists, she has many pieces throughout the state. Check out her website: http://www.hollygittlein.com/
After May 15, 2017, if you drive past Academy Charter, you will see the "Infinite Flame" front and center of the school. Barbara Gerard, and her staff along with the students will have a ribbon cutting at their end-of-year picnic. Stay tuned!
